P+ Membership Terms & Conditions

This document outlines the Terms & Conditions of your ProteqtPlus (P+) Membership along with your Membership Schedule. Please contact us if you have any questions or wish to upgrade your membership to cover additional appliances.

Overview
The ProteqtPlus Membership provides free engineer callouts, discounted parts, replacements, and related services. Your Membership Schedule details the level of membership you have and the appliances covered under your plan.

Premium (£19.95 per month or £199.50 per year)

Definitions
-
Appliance: Any domestic appliance covered under your membership.

Beyond Economic Repair: The cost to repair an appliance exceeds its replacement value, it is damaged beyond repair, or spare parts are unavailable (as determined by us).

Callout: A visit by an approved engineer to perform services at your property.

Engineer: An approved person or company authorized to provide services.

Membership: This document and your Membership Schedule.

Repair: Any repair, including labor and materials, required to restore an appliance to working condition.

Schedule: The personalized section of your plan documents.
-
Service: Includes inspections, advice, maintenance, repairs, or replacements.

We/Us/Our: ProteqtPlus Ltd(P+).

You/Your: The named party on the Membership Schedule.

Services
1.1 You can request services for appliances listed in your Membership Schedule. 1.2 You must notify us of any appliances you wish to include in your membership.

Engineer Callouts
2.1 You are entitled to free engineer callouts based on your membership level. 2.2 After using your free callouts, you can request additional callouts at a discounted rate. 2.3 Discounts apply to the standard callout rates for non-members, which are listed on our website.

Replacement Parts
3.1 Required parts for repairs will be charged at your membership discount rate. 3.2 Discounts apply to the Recommended Retail Price (RRP) of parts. 3.3 All repairs come with a 6-month warranty on both labor and parts.

Replacement Appliances
4.1 If an appliance listed in your schedule is Beyond Economic Repair, we will either offer a direct replacement or source an appliance of your choice at a discounted rate. 4.2 The discount applies to the RRP of the replacement appliance.

Upgrades and New Appliances
5.1 You can request an upgrade or a new appliance at any time and receive your membership discount. 5.2 Discounts apply only if the appliance type is listed in your schedule.

Additional Services
6.1 Additional services, including delivery, installation, and disposal of appliances, will be charged at your discounted membership rate. 6.2 Discounts apply to the current standard charges listed on our website.

General Conditions
7.1 We may update these Terms & Conditions. Any changes will be communicated to you in writing. 7.2 Your membership begins when we issue your Membership Schedule and process payment. 7.3 Membership fees (including VAT) are outlined in your welcome letter and on our website. 7.4 If paying by Direct Debit, payments must be made regularly. If a payment is missed, we may attempt another collection. 7.5 If paying annually, the full payment must be made before membership starts. 7.6 Membership is non-transferable unless approved by us. You may transfer your membership to a new owner with prior written consent. 7.7 Membership fees are non-refundable. 7.8 If you miss a payment, services will be suspended until outstanding amounts are cleared. 7.9 Failure to comply with these Terms may result in immediate termination of your membership. 7.10 We may cancel your membership with 14 days’ notice at our discretion. 7.11 You will be notified annually about any changes or price increases, and payments will continue unless you request cancellation. 7.12 Each of these terms operates separately; if any are deemed unlawful, the remaining terms will remain in effect. 7.13 We reserve the right to modify these terms for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons. Notice will be given where possible, and you may cancel if you disagree with changes. 7.14 All communications will be in English, and English Law will apply.

Your Responsibilities
8.1 You must be at least 18 years old and a UK resident. 8.2 Appliances must be used for domestic purposes, in a single household, and located at the address listed in your schedule. 8.3 Appliances must be accessible and meet safety standards.

Protecting Your Personal Data
10.1 ProteqtPlus Ltd is the Data Controller for the information you provide. We use your data to manage your membership and marketing communications. 10.2 You must provide accurate information; failure to do so may prevent us from providing services. 10.3 We may share your data with third-party organizations, such as auditors, financial institutions, crime prevention agencies, and regulatory bodies. 10.4 All data is processed in the UK, but if transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), appropriate safeguards will be in place. 10.5 We retain your data for at least 7 years after your membership ends. 10.6 You have the right to:
